COMMUNE, Sydney’s collaborative working space for the creative industry, is launching a campaign via crowdfunding site Pozible to expand its capacity to meet the increasing demand to support Sydney’s creative community. This next initiative builds on COMMUNE’s pioneering vision to redefine the way we think and talk about the creative industry work culture.
COMMUNE is a collection of creative spaces that offer the resources designed to foster connectedness and collaboration within the creative community. They provide everything from co-working facilities, photography studios to art gallery and workshop spaces.
Founded in November 2012 by freelance graphic designer Sam Ali, with the aim to create a space that addresses the fundamental problems that independent professionals face. COMMUNE is a platform for Sydney’s creatives to be productive, showcase their work and engage with a community of industry professionals.
“COMMUNE isn’t just providing the tools needed to become confident freelancers, we go beyond that. We empower emerging creatives by offering the resources to turn their interests and passions into businesses. To turn what they love into what they do. As well as offering entrepreneurs and small businesses access to the tools, resources and networks to grow and develop any idea or business without high financial commitments,” – Sam Ali, Founder
COMMUNE’s Pozible campaign is aiming to raise $30,000 in just 30 days. Pozible supporters will have the opportunity to become a COMMUNE Founding Member – benefits of which include heavily discounted rates for their facilities, 24-hour access, and exclusive offers from industry partners.
“We want your name to be on the wall next to ours. Get involved, Be part of something and join COMMUNE”.
Other rewards include tickets to their founders only launch event, discounted and flexible memberships allowing you to use hours instead of days, workshop event hire and more.
COMMUNE Pozible campaign is now live and you can be a part of it.
