Kaleido Issue 03 Launch Event It’s time to launch the third printed edition of Kaleido, and this time we are focused on creativity for social change. Featuring a range of incredible filmakers, dancers, designers, artists and more, that are using their creative skills to tackle social issues like gender equality, human rights, environmental sustainability, inclusiveness for disability, indigenous opportunity and more.
We are inviting you to experience this issue first hand at COMMUNE Maker Space, where you can meet like minded creatives and enjoy industry speakers, an art exhibition, live music, mini workshops, design markets, food and drinks.
This launch features NSW Young Australian of the Year and 2009 Tropfest Winner Genevieve Clay-Smith of Bus Stop Films, Executive Director of creative social business Agency, Murray Bunton, and head of The Hatchery for creative innovators, and previous head of Oxfam Design for Change, Tida Tippapart plus more to be announced.
The brews will be flowing courtesy of our amazing friends Young Henry’s, and you’ll be able to purchase delicious, ethically produced food on the night. Every ticket holder will also get a free copy of Issue 3 to take away with them, and the lucky creative submissions winner will be announced at the launch with a special prize from WD, plus more surprises on the night.
